SFW ACADEMY ADMISSION, PREPARATION STEPS, AND CONSULTANTS’ CERTIFICATION PROCESS ARE FREE UNTIL JUNE 30, 2024

As a qualified or aspiring Soccer/Football Educator preparing for the advancement of your career, you can apply to the Soccer/Football Academy for a Free Offline Study Fellowship. Here are the steps to becoming an Independent Faculty or Consultant Contractor, at the Soccer Football Whisperer High Performance Club Development Academy:

  • Scourer this website and become familiar with the Project.
  • Know the requirements for admission to the SFW Academy.
  • Review the Faculty and consultant information below and apply. You will receive the free study package if successful, to begin studying the manual of 100 Principles
    1. Take a complete tour of the website – Review the  SFW Academy Handbook and this entire document before applying. This is to ensure that you understand how your faculty/consultant role and relationship with the SFW Academy is associated and supported by the Project books and study materials, as your main resource.
    1. The Applicants Study Package contains all relevant Information – instructions, self-training material, customer training PP presentations, books, and open book exam for the SFW Academy Certification Program.
    2. The study package will be returned to successful applicants upon receipt of the completed Admission Application Form to begin their preparation immediately
    1. Follow the items in your study package in the order in which they appear on this checklist. Reading the preliminaries of the books will require at least some time away from your routine;
    2. Be sure to know about all the tables of content to use as sources of reference by your Consultancy, in the service of Client Clubs.
    1. Do a quick walk-through of all items in the package. At least read the captions and introduction to get the functional concept of each component.
    2. Begin making notes of the things you could change or add from your previous training repertoire and empirical experience, and highlight your needs and study preferences for timely revisits.
    1. Study at your own pace to avoid complexity overload. The prerequisites carry the assumption of your capability, self-sufficiency, and capacity to set your own schedule and to be well prepared in a reasonable time…within 6 weeks, but without penalty.
    1. There is no online support associated with the self-study process. Candidates with difficulties must refer to the 100 Principles manual, as well as research third sources.
    1. The latest email and advertisements released with subsequent information will supersede The 2018 SFW Academy Handbook Draft… work from the table of contents when and wherever you may have a concern, and use the contact information.
    1. Note the relevant Principle number in the margin for each selected study item as you are reviewing it; such a reference will provide for close association with the questions as sequenced on the exam sheets; this will make it easy to identify answers for questions on the exam to be matched with the answer sheets provided. Some answers will require logic and reasoning and will not necessarily appear verbatim in any of the texts.  Recommended Order for reading, study, and operation info; # 9 -15 9. Read “Introduction to the 100 Principles Manual” – This light reading will provide good background information on the author and origin of the book. There are numerous catch-all phrases for introducing the Project, and for selling the books on commission to football-interested people and the Client Clubs you will target for consultation.
    1. Read and review the “100 Principles For High-Performance Club Development Leadership [Coaching] And Quality Control” manual – match all relevant material with whatever presentation you develop – ensure clients will acquire and use the manual;  EBooks or Paperbacks are available from Amazon or the SFW Website)
    1. Read and review the “Table of Tools from the Leadership Training Workbook for Club Performance Management & Appraisal System Implementation” – select, test, and practice introducing functional examples of the tools to potential clients.
    1. The main activity guide for the clubs is the Whisperer Club Leadership Capacity Building Performance Management & Appraisal (System Implementation) Workbook “-the paperback format is required for each participant or at least one copy per club. It contains participants’ home reading assignments with guidance for using the tools and manual. Each reading assignment will clarify and give further guidance for using the in-course activity worksheets.
    1. Faculty and Consultants will reach out to clubs with the introduction of The SFW Club Development Leadership Capacity Self-Quiz …to decision-makers at clubs while seeking initial meetings for the High-Performance Club Development Leadership, Coaching, and Technical Football needs assessment for training and continuing consultation.
    1. Prepare and follow up with a shortened PP Presentation from the “Introduction to the SFW New CEO Initiation Book” – Focus on “The Benefits and Challenges of a Performance Management and Appraisal System (PMAS)”, at the soccer/football club. It is the first step towards bringing a new culture and solutions for more effective high-performance management at the Clubs. Club leaders who are given a spicy preview will quickly realize the value of a PMAS. Their staff will receive training to execute once implemented. It should be made clear that it is not more work for them, but a chance to expand their professional capacities. It is also the club’s responsibility to refine performance in all areas of its endeavor.
    1. Introduce the table of tools and topics from the SFW Performance Management And Appraisal System (PMAS) Workbook” – it will not be difficult to do business with clubs that have Leaders who will submit to a short meeting to get a guided preview of this vital document. The Faculty and Consultants will be able to use selected topics and lead in to fill the captions in their self-training PP Presentation to emphasize the importance of the SFW Program and the PMAS Workshop.
    1. Study, know, internalize, and use the available “Club Development PowerPoint Presentations” as your coursework, before approaching clients. While the presentations are generic and accurate, inexperienced faculty/consultants must develop mock sessions that are facsimiles of what and how they will be training clients. Review, study, edit, add video action clips, use whiteboard for some topics, adjust and rearrange screens to accommodate relevant, own source material, for making the Faculty and Consultants presentations unique with added values.
    1. Revisit as needed “100 Principles – Introduction to the Topics” – the topics have brief explanatory notes to lead into the subject matter. They are also powerful selling points for convincing Clubs to hire the Academy Faculty and Consultants. The topics should be related to solving the salient issues and technical problems identified by the staff, with the assistance of the Faculty/Consultant during the initial needs analysis meeting.
    1. Revisit the “100 Principles for High-Performance Soccer Football Club Development Leadership Coaching and Quality Control” manual –. The Faculty and Consultants will decide which areas of the Manual to present to support the need-based training design rubrics developed with the staff. The duration, areas of coverage, number of participants, logistics, and cost, will be negotiated and determined by the Sole Proprietor Academy Faculty or Club Consultant and the Clubs. It will be necessary for each participating club to purchase copies of the 100 Principles. It is the only single-source, life-long career development volume for the high-performance leadership of the club, its technical management, and its coaching staff.
    1. The Whisperer Academy trained, equipped, and certified Faculty and Consultants will operate their own independent high-performance club development service consultancies, as registered businesses (John X or Mary Y Soccer Football Whisperer – Club Development Services Consultancy/S/P or LLC) utilizing the Whisperer brand and adopting or adapting courses to train clubs individual students, and the public of interest, for the usual reasonable market-tolerable fees, online or within their country.
    1. All qualified SFW Academy Faculty and Consultant Profiles will be listed as SFW Affiliate High-Performance Club Development Faculty or Club Consultant Trainers, alphabetically and searchable by Country, on the Whisperer Academy Websites. Their services will so be branded and advertised as support for our Graduates in a non-binding relationship, as they are not operating as SFW Franchises.
    1. Remote or online courses offered by the Affiliates are recommended to be in the SFW self-training format, online, offline, or by personal delivery. The propagation of such training and consultations can be made accessible from any source, as well as the Whisperer’s Website (a 12% fee on sales of training and courses accessed from the Website will be withheld).
    1. In January 2025, a nominal (20 USD) annual hosting fee will be charged. The Faculty and Consultants S/P and LLC may further submit their country’s logo and limited design advertisement for display on the SFW Website, as Established SFW Associates within their countries. An amount not exceeding the stated hosting fee, will be surcharged for the upgrade from SFW Consultancy to SFW Associate Agency.
    1. It is important for the Faculty and Consultants to “promote sales of the SFW Club Leadership Capacity Building and Performance Management and Appraisal System’ (PMAS) Implementation Workbook as paperbacks:” – the paperback version will be necessary for copying the tools for practice during the workshop activities, and for continuing utilization by the Club staff within the PMAS as well as for the Management, Coaching and Technical Development of the team.
    1. Candidates accepted at the academy may begin immediately to promote the sale of the books on our website.
