Following FIFA’s Lead

FIFA, on September 6, 2015, marked 20 years since the week FIFA launched its International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES) at Switzerland’s University at Neuchatel, De Montfort University in Leicester, and at the SDA Bocconi School of Management in Milan. The program enables students to receive sports management training and to gain an internationally recognized degree, The FIFA Master in Management, Law and Humanities in Sport. The program has been reported as a resounding success with 20 universities on four continents becoming partners since its launch.

“The course is designed to offer the ideal blend of theory and practice, enabling networking and generating qualified human resources that can guarantee the expertise required to give [soccer] football an organizational, administrative and logistical foundation for the future.” Blatter (2015).

The Soccer/Football Whisperer’s Wilguard Enterprise Project is precisely appropriate for supporting the continuing pursuance of these worthy objectives in its own way, by facilitating the availability of a curriculum, performance management information tools and qualified/competent consultant soccer/football trainers to ensure the professional implementation and positive functional outcome of such FIFA desired programming, at all the clubs worldwide.

The Whisperer Project is about the propagation of the most critical mental, technical and practical processes for developing High Performance Clubs, and so invites these institutions to not only just take notice of this seminal work, but action in archiving, researching, re-designing, adapting and utilizing these materials for the further development and expansion their own programs.

The work is seminal because it brings previously scattered knowledge together at new focal point and synergises a fresh ideology that will change the management philosophy at Soccer/Football Clubs. It also introduces more functional expressions in interestingly creative ways that will engage the entire football family around a new starting point at a higher threshold of performance and expectations.

The gap between administration and coaching is too great; the critical functional intersections in such a vital collaborative relationship have been too ill-defined to date…so in steps the Whisperer to score with this slamming grounder!

The discussion prompters, assumptions, incontrovertible hypotheses, new theories, tools and systems may not be reasonably ignored within academia, or by the soccer/football family, so welcomed all to this quantum leap into high performance soccer football!
