PURPOSE FOR DELIVERING THE PROJECT

Summary – Wilguard Enterprise Soccer Football Whisperer Project Rationale Discussion: Who Needs the Goods and Services… and Why?

While the Project ultimately seeks to improve the game by strengthening the hand of the soccer/football leaders in taking charge of their Educational Institutions, loosely referred to as the Club, it eventually pans out in favor of the manager/coach community. While the position of the Manager/Coach is pivotal to the success of the team and will reflect the performance of the club, it is not intended to ultimately lead the club. But the visionaries, who have become successful at this level position within clubs, do wield a powerful influence on the status quo… and the market.

So things could easily remain as they are if all club leaders and managers/coaches were gifted and divinely ordained to administer high-performance leadership to staff, players, and the team. Respectfully, this is not the case and therefore, it is safe to conclude that not all club leaders and managers/coaches can be considered the best… but all and their clubs are Whisperer-recoverable.

Consequently, this Project seeks to begin the conservation about finding a viable and equitable solution to this perplexing paradigm, that requires an institutionalized solution. And it should not matter from whence it originates for it to be critically reviewed and taken seriously, in a context where we all can agree that even the top teams in the world are not playing at the highest performance level that is possible.

For this undeniable reason, and the fact that scouring the internet will indicate clearly that issues arising from this paradox, are not being confronted in an informed and forthright manner, and so creates a clear space for this Project to be at least discussed by all clubs… at all levels.

The problem of premature, unjustifiable, and arbitrary firing of soccer/football managers/ coaches has been a very worrying problem that pre-dates the Federation of International Football Associations (FIFA), and has been rampant for at least 5 decades, creating havoc in Human Resources Relations Management at football clubs around the world.

The sport of soccer/football generates great returns on investment, but is operated in a culture unlike any other big business; there is not enough well-established, reasonable policy to guarantee and support a legal due process for their contracted Manager/Coach, and some full-time employees.

There is an abundance of clubs in need of guidance in implementing a science-based Performance Management and Appraisal System that can establish measured performance and quality control benchmarks, to support manager/coach/performance improvement to minimize but allow the marking of the trail of plausible evidence for just causes for their termination. It also will facilitate the illumination of the indicators of failed leadership and support systems at the clubs.

The project is therefore bipartisan in its conception and is anticipated to be accepted as such. Of course, a proper system would allow reasonable grounds for advocates to follow up with an appeal and review process, ensuring ample representation that can match the overwhelming odds that is in favor of the Club, over the common law right of the Manage/ Coach.

The reason for the problem to have existed for so long is that the club leaders were never properly introduced, trained, and provided with tools for them to confidently carry through this sensitive and vital responsibility of implementing and conducting a Performance Management and Appraisal System, taken for granted in Human Resource Relation Management Best Practices in all legal organization and businesses everywhere else in the free world.
